by Earlier this year, I was asked if I would like to attend a Tech Field Day. Some scheduling conflicts did not give the opportunity to attend. I was disappointed to say the least. Being honored to have been asked, but not being able to go was frustrating.
For those that don’t know what Tech Field Day is, here is an excerpt from the Gestalt IT site:
This unique event brings together innovative IT product vendors and independent thought leaders who have immense influence on the ways that products and companies are perceived and understood by the general public. The world of media has changed, with social media and blogging gaining special importance.
Fortunately, GestaltIT has again asked me to participate, and I will be able to attend the latest installment of Tech Field Day in San Jose.
I don’t work for a vendor, so I guess I’m flattered to be considered an independent thought leader. Uh, OK. I’ll take their word for it on that one.
I am looking forward to learning, contributing, and making some new friends.
